Overview of Unemployment Flofida e-service
To access their Reemployment Assistance account, Florida claimants will need to go through a multi-factor authentication process. Reemployment Assistance claimants will be confirmed as legitimate through this process.
Due to this upgrade, each claimant’s Reemployment Assistance account must be linked to a unique email address. Email addresses cannot be exchanged by claimants.
If a claimant does not already have an email address or if they share an email address with another Reemployment Assistance claimant, DEO advises that they open a new email account, which can be done for free or without charge.
Reemployment Assistance claimants will also need to open an account with ID.me and confirm their identification in addition to using multi-factor authentication.
In order to keep people’s personal information secure, DEO, federal government agencies, and more than 25 other states continue to rely on ID.me as a trusted technology partner.
DEO advises claimants to register an ID.me account and confirm their identification there before finishing the multi-factor authentication process if they haven’t already. Visit ID.me by clicking here, or find out more about creating and safeguarding an ID.me account.
Please be aware that applicants for Reemployment Assistance who are under the age of 18 must contact the Florida Reemployment Assistance Customer Service Center at 1-833-FL-APPLY for help proving their identity.
